F E I M A ------- D O T ------- O R G

I n f o r m a t i o n

Radio History: It all started one night when I was about 16 or 17, listening to my walkman late at night, I stumbled upon a college radio station WCSB that belonged to Cleveland State University. The show that caught my attention was hosted by Wainstead, he did a punk rock show, but it was mostly talk radio and entertained me. I decided then and there that I wanted to go to college at Cleveland State and that I definitely wanted to try and become a member of the station and have a show. When I became a senior in high school I was required to do a sort of internship somewhere. I decided WCSB should be that place. So, I interned there and then later when I started college I applied and was accepted to become a member of the station --- and now I am a senior in college and I am going to graduate in December 2003!

History of Radio Shows:

94'-95' Obscured Deviation, Monday night 10pm to 12 or 1am..it was on when that weird sex show was on, you remember, Dr.Judy in New York.
And people in the area around here(Cleveland, Ohio) would call me if they couldn't get through to her. So, i tried to answer wacky sex problems. It was a talk show half the time and a 80's show, sprinkled with some noise, goth, and industrial here and there....

95'-96' Subliminal Glitter, Tues., 4am to 7am, the whole point of this show
was to play whatever the hell i wanted and try to put subliminal messages in the backround. It was mostly an ambient and white noise show,I figured the best time to do the imposing my will on the public was between 6am and 7am, so that's when i would do it the most. All i would do it whisper things like, "you're a pretty boy, you want to dance around in fishnets!" Whispering this under the noise actually worked and people would call and say, did i hear you saying i was a pretty boy? It was quite funny. When i did that show i would never sleep I would stay up til i had to do my show, then sleep when i got home, and i never took a tues and thurs class. It was nice, even though it was at a really bad time slot.

96'-97' The Etiquette of Submission, Wed., 11pm to 2am, this was the most insanely popular time for me on the radio. I had insane amounts of callers and loads of people listened. This program was straight up industrial.. I am talking old school... at this point I was all about Thrill Kill Kult and Skinny Puppy. I also was insane about playing people's requests even if I did not like the song, or the band I would still play it. I loved this time slot but I lost it due to bad grades because I was a student member and there were requirements at the time that I fell under, so I had to give up my show and my membership. [sidenote: I decided to apply myself now and currently I am on the dean's list, which basically means, I get all A's and B's ;-) ]

99'-02' F5, Saturday, 2am to 7am, I had returned triumphant to the station and decided that I was insane and would do a 5 hour show, because no one else wanted to do the time slot after me. I was actually supposed to only have 2 to 4am, but since no one wanted to do 4 to 7am, I volunteered to cover it. I did the 5 hours until I decided that sleep deprovation wasn't doing me any good. Unable to come up with a name that was not corny or odd sounding, I decided to name it F5, because my name is feima and the show was 5 hours long. My show at this point is pretty much as it is now, littered with the goodness of vac, :wumpscut:, haujobb, vnv, and funker vogt.

02'-Currently F2, Saturday, 12am to 2am, In the beginning, F2 was actually 2am to 4am, then the person who had the show before me decided to quit doing his show,so I applied for 12midnite to 2am, and got the time slot. As you can tell, I still could not come up with a good name, so I decided to keep it simple and name this program F2 because I am feima and it is 2 hours long. I noticed at this point, that my show regurgitated itself over and over, playing the same artists time after time after time, so now I make it a point to try and play local artists as well as artists that are good that don't have a place in my heart yet. Also, I am a big ol' bitch now and I will only play music I like because I do this for free and it physically appalls me to play bad music or really old music. I am all about playing new music at this point.

History of Club DJing

Debauchery, Friday nights @ The Chamber Nightclub: In 1999 I decided it was a good idea to take over a club night from the illustrious Tim who DJ'ed at The Chamber (which is located downstairs from The Phantasy Nightclub)on Friday nights. He was not into doing it anymore and I told him I would like to dj there. So, the night called Debauchery came about. I would play everything people requested including horrid things like White Zombie and Type O Negative... I want to puke when I think about it. Anyways, i would also play some good music. heh. 1999 was not even over til I decided that i no longer wanted to do the night, I handed it over to Heretik, who is still DJ'ing there now on Saturdays. It was an alright gig, but I got burned out on it. The Chamber is still is a nice little club, I sometimes visit now and then. heh.

This past Thanksgiving of 2002, I djed at The Chamber with other local nice djs I also made the flyer for it, see below....

I also dj'ed at a place called Club Atlantis doing a night called Danse Matrix for a bit and also was part of a failed night with other djs at another club that got closed down called Europa and I even dj'ed a couple fetish events here and there.....more information on those things... you'll have to check back in about a week when I have time to scan flyers and I have to try and remember dates and etc.
